A number of female students at a Taliban-organized gathering protested against them and called for the reopening of girls’ schools. several videos of the protest have also been released, in which angry girls are seen pulling posters and banners of the Taliban from a wall and tearing them down.
This gathering was held on Friday, April 1, 2022, in the gymnasium of the Bamiyan province. it was organized under the name of “UNAMA” and sponsored by the Taliban group, but was met with questions and protests from female students, who called on the Taliban to respect the rights and freedoms of Afghan women and Afghan citizens.
Sources from Bamiyan province said that the speakers of the event were Taliban-designated individuals who, in their speech, called on the participants and citizens of Bamiyan to recognize the Taliban government and seek out the frozen Money of Afghanistan by the USA. Although the program was organized under the name of UNAMA (United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan), it was in fact a mock meeting by the Taliban that was decorated with banners of their propagandas.
“We brought true Islam in Afghanistan, after this, you are dealing with a completely Islamic government,” Taliban members said at yesterday’s gathering, in which Zarifa (pseudonym) of the students raises her voice and asks the Taliban, “Is the real Islam that you said yourself against women’s education? What answer do you have about the explicit verses of the Qur’an and hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad? You mentioned the human rights of the People of Afghanistan, is education not one of the rights of the People of Afghanistan? Why did you close schools for girls?” when Zarifa asks these questions the meeting breaks down. Taliban members try to silence Zarifa’s voice like other justice-seeking women. Eyewitnesses say a soldier of the Taliban’s Islamic Emirate rises toward Zarifa and threatens her with death, but faces a backlash from Zarifa’s classmates and other participants.
The girls then tear down all the Taliban’s posters and banners One by one. the Taliban members left the gathering and refused any answer to the questions of the female students. “Running away is not the answer, let’s find a solution,” protesting students’ shouted. “By holding such gatherings, the Taliban want to make a name for themselves in the eyes of the world and in the meantime, tie the hands of Afghan citizens behind their backs,” said a socio-political analyst who requested anonymity. The Taliban pretend that UNAMA and the Afghan citizens are satisfied with their black government. But this is a crude fantasy and is a letter to a child who is never born. »
